We should pray for the lost not because it's a good thing to do, but because it is what God wills us to do. We don't pray for some spiritual task so that we can feel holier, but because God would have us pray for the lost. But, are we praying in our will or His will? As we listen to the evening sermon from Pastor Robb, let us learn the truth about praying for the lost; it is God's will that we should be seeking, not our will be done!
Sermon: The Believer's Response to Salvation.
We are told in Scripture how we should come to God in prayer. We are to come with faith. We are to enter reverently into His presence. And we are to always come with thanksgiving; which usually is the hardest way to come to God in the face of turmoil and trouble. But, we are to give thanks to God for all things. As we hear the word preached to today from Pastor Robb, let's us listen to the lessons from Jesus on how we are to respond to God for His saving faith through Jesus Christ. If we truly have our eyes focus on Jesus, we can't help but be thankful for His saving grace.
Sermon: Faith and Faithfulness.
Christian all over the world are struggling in vain to overcome certain issues in their lives. Be it struggling with forgiveness, sinfulness or life choices. Although we pray for more faith, the word tells us we already have all the faith we need. As Pastor Robb continues his sermon series thought the gospel of Luke, glean the lesson that Jesus wants all His followers to learn, we have all the faith we need through Him.
