Sermon: God's Requirements for True Worship.  Pastor Robb continues his series through the books of the Minor Prophets. This week’s sermon brings us to the under-used book of Micah.  Micah’s message of justice speaks directly to the common misconception of today’s society where justice is often confused with vengeance.  Micah reminds everyone that God alone is true in justice and this characteristic demands our worship.  But, does today’s Christian really understand how to respond to a just God in true worship? Listen as this week’s sermon gives instruction on how we are commanded to truly worship God.

Sermon: Jonah: The Reluctant Prophet. Jonah was sent on a divine mission to the great city of Nineveh, but instead he boarded the nearest ship to set sail for Tarshish. What would God do in response to Jonah's disobedience, and what would Jonah learn about the God of Israel as he ran from God's commands and later only reluctantly obeyed? Jonah is a tour de force in theology, teaching us about the character and nature of God, calling us to trust Him and to love Him as the God who is gracious and compassionate, full of mercy, who relents concerning calamity. Listen to this week's sermon on Jonah to see why the book of Jonah is more than the account of a man swallowed by a great fish and meet the God who pursues sinners that He might show them His great compassion.

Sermon: Obadiah: The Kingdom Will Be the Lord's. The little Old Testament book of Obadiah is easily overlooked, even when flipping through the pages of your Bible. Although Obadiah might not be well known among Christians today, it packs a powerful message for God's people regarding the hope we have because of who God is. In the midst of trials and difficulties, when it seems like evil is triumphing and God's good promises are going unfulfilled, Obadiah reminds God's people of who God is to buoy our trust in His Word. Listen to this week's sermon to hear about the attributes of our God and to strengthen your faith in Him.

Sermon: Amos: God's Just Judgment of Unjust People. Listen to this week's sermon as we continue our series on The Minor Prophets. The book of Amos has been quoted frequently in American politics and been used as a manifesto of "social justice." But is that what this prophet is all about? Pastor Robb goes through the book of Amos in this sermon, focusing especially on Amos 8, to show how this book speaks not to social justice, but to a higher level of justice, the kind of justice we really need, and the kind of justice that required a perfect sacrifice.

Sermon: Joel: The Great and Awesome Day of the Lord. The book of Joel is a little book with a great message. The prophet Joel lived in a time of national catastrophe, and in his prophecy he instructed the nation Israel about how to respond in times of national crisis. After the Orlando Massacre, the book of Joel finds fresh relevance for Americans today. How should we respond in times of national tragedy? Listen to this sermon to hear what the Word of God says about the Day of the Lord and what it means for us in light of the terrible things that happen in our world.

Sermon: Hosea 14 - Hosea: The Faithful, Free Love of God. When we are spiritually weak, what is the source of our trouble? We are often quick to blame our circumstances or those around us, but in the book of Hosea we learn that the problems that cause us to stumble into sin are much closer to home. In fact, Hosea reminds us that our sin is our greatest problem. But he also reminds us that there is hope for sinners if they repent and look to God for grace and mercy. In this week's sermon, we begin a new series on The Minor Prophets, focusing on the book of Hosea and the faithful, free love of God for His people.

That's what we are looking at in this week's sermon. Listen to this sermon on Luke 11:45-54 as we consider the difference between knowing the scriptures in a saving way and knowing the scriptures in a way that results in condemnation.

Sermon: Luke 11:29-36 - The Only Sign for a Wicked Generation. After Jesus cast a demon out a man, some onlookers were seeking a sign from heaven to verify that He was indeed the Messiah. This group of skeptics seemed well-intentioned enough, wanting to see more evidence for Jesus' claims, yet Jesus issued His most scathing rebuke against them, promising them only one sign: the sign of Jonah. What is this sign? And how does it relate to Jesus? Listen to this week's sermon as we look at Luke 11:29-36 and Jesus' words to skeptics.

Sermon: Luke 11:24-28 - True or False Conversion? In this week's sermon, we take a look at a peculiar saying of Jesus involving a demonic spirit that leaves a person, vainly looks for rest, and then returns. What is the point of this saying of Jesus? Meanwhile, a woman from the crowd interrupts Jesus as He is speaking, which turns into an opportunity for Jesus to draw a contrast between true and false conversion. Listen to this week's sermon to find out what it means to be truly converted and to find out the dangers of thinking you belong to Jesus when in reality you do not.

So how can we gain such confidence? In this sermon, we wrap our series on prayer by studying Jesus' teaching about why the believer should have confidence in God's willingness to answer prayer.
